The second week at Global was awesome. I got to do so many different things. I went to a press conference for the NDP, got to chase down a missing family with our amazing camera man and even got to do my own pack on the Calgary Youth Science Center at the U of C.
I was surprised at how much they have allowed me to do. They are now sending me out on my own with just the camera man to get stories, edit them and complete the full pack. It is actually every similar to the TV simulation that we did the last couple months at Sait.
I am really enjoying my time at Global and I hope there is a spot for me when I’m done my practicum 🙂
