According to a Ford Canada spokesperson, Ford has recalled 2,950 small SUV’s across Canada due to has leaks that may cause fires.
The recall includes certain Bronco Sport SUV’s 2022 and 2023 models as well as their Escape SUV’S from 2022. 43,000 Ford vehicles have been recalled due to gas leaks in the fuel injectors that go onto the engines hot surface.
They will not be replacing the fuel injectors but they will add a tube to let the gasoline flow away from hot surfaces and to the ground below.
Ford said that they will have an update that will trigger a dashboard warning light if any issues arise.
