Calgary Stampeders add Beau Baldwin to the team’s staff

Calgary, AB, Canada / RTBN

The Calgary Stampeders have added some depth in their coaching staff with the hiring of Beau Baldwin as the teams QB coach. Baldwin is replacing Ryan Williams who has accepted a position in college football. Baldwin has had two tenures for a total of 13 seasons as offensive coordinator and head coach.

Baldwin had a 85-62 record at his previous team and helped coach Stampeders legendary quarterback Bo Levi Mitchell. That connection has helped Baldwin stay in touch with the Stamps over the years. Baldwin will help coach the players including starting QB Jake Maier. Maier has struggled as of late and the team is hoping Baldwin could help Maier reach his full potential.

Baldwins experience with quarterbacks has fans thinking he could be on the team for awhile and help build the future of the teams offence. The Stamps season will begin in June.
