Saits women’s curling Team has been playing quite well this season. taking home this year’s ACAC Championship. but that’s not all the team has been up to. as two Saits curlers have been making their mark on the sport at the highest level. Reaylen Helston and Bayly Scoffin competed in this year’s Scotties Tournament of Hearts for team Yukon.
In the end, the curlers came up short but the win in the ACAC made the pairs week a whirlwind. but for Bayly the week wasn’t all about winning as not only was she given the chance to compete with her sait teammate at a national level but her mom as well.
“It was just incredible I got to play with Reayln who was my second slash third at the Scotties and my mom was the alternate and she got to play three games with me including the final game”
if that wasn’t enough for this curling family after the win at the ACACs Bayly got on a plane to Regina to watch her older brother play in the Breir tournament also representing the Yukon.
