73 year old Fred Bezanson is being charged with multiple counts of owning child porn after a computer tech company tipped the police off after working on his computer. While working on the device they came across many graphic photos of minors.
The police got a search warrant on Tuesday for Bezanson’s house and seized his computer. The police recovered over 3,600 illegal images off the computer and Bezanson was arrested later that day.
The police are now searching through multiple other devices owned by Bezanson and he is expected to make his first court appearance on January 10th 2025. Police ask if anyone has information about this crime, please contact the Calgary Police or crime stoppers.
