Flames down Blackhawks 4-3 to close out road trip

It wasn’t their best effort but the Calgary Flames managed to escape the united centre with a crucial 2 points.

Flames winger Johnny Gaudreau continued his bid for league MVP with 2 goals in the game, putting him 3rd place in the league with 65 points.

David Rittich picks up win number 15 of the season, stopping 32 of the 35 shots he faced. Rittich has been white hot for the flames all season improving his record to 15-4-4.

The Flames have an off day today and are currently 1st place in the western conference, sitting 2 points ahead of vegas and 3 points ahead of Nashville.

They are back in action tomorrow when they host the Colorado Avalanche.
