A collaborative effort between Calgary Police and 5 other police services had led to four arrests in relation to a string of break-ins across western Canada.
Calgary police have laid 87 charges against 4 people from Surrey BC in relation to the break-ins.
Police say they executed a search warrant in Bridleridge Green SW, where 3 of the four suspects were arrested. The fourth suspect was arrested at another date.
The search resulted in police recovering over 5,000 pieces of stolen mail, seven firearms, and stolen property.
Canada post says they were able to confirm 3,970 pieces of mail as being stolen, which will be returned to the rightful owners.
CPS believes these break-ins have affected 2,194 members of the public.
