A man wanted on a nationwide warrant for murder has been arrested.
Cordelius Terry Jackson Harrison turned himself into Calgary police on Tuesday. Harrison is facing second-degree murder charges in relation to the death of 37-year old Rufus Eldin.
Police responded to Paranoia nightclub at around 3 am Sunday to reports of an altercation. Eldin was found at the scene in life threating condition and was rushed to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
Harrison was calm and collected when he turned himself into police on Tuesday.
“I’m being arrested right now. It’s OK.”
Harrison proclaimed his innocence as CPS restrained him and brought him into a station. He shouted and stared down cameras. “I have nothing to risk. I did not do anything wrong.”
Formal charges are pending.
