Speaking at the Calgary Chamber of Commerce today, Justin Trudeau responded to a Calgarian when asked if he believes the new pipeline will be in ground by spring.
“I certainly hope so.”
Trudeau responded saying he wasn’t sure, but he was in hope. Although Trudeau wasn’t able to provide a specific period of time when construction will resume.
Arriving for his 20th visit to Alberta, he says the government must interact with indigenous communities and continue to collaborate with experts to move further with the pipeline move.
Trudeau’s next move is to meet and discuss with Energy sector experts along with Major Naheed Nenshi.
