Police say just after 10 pm yesterday, a man burst into the store demanding money from the clerk, who was at the back assisting customers.  The first assailant then attacked the clerk, stabbing him with a knife, before fleeing the store.  The customers with the clerk were not harmed, and administered first aid.

The clerk was transported to hospital in life-threatening condition, but has since been upgraded to stable condition.

Witness accounts also say there was a woman brandishing a knife outside the store at the time the attack took place.

The male suspect is described as being in his 20’s, roughly 5’6″ tall, and was wearing a dark hoodie with a green design on the back, blue jeans, and a white baseball hat at the time of the attack.

The female suspect is believed to be Caucasian, about 5′ tall, and has a slim build.
