The Calgary Hitmen already excited fans earlier this year when they announced their Corral Series where they’ll play three games at the old Stampede Corral this Friday they have a new way to get fans to come out.
The Calgary Hitmen announced that they’ll do a Calgary Roughnecks night.
“I think it’ll be a fun game, it won’t effect me too much, it’ll be a little different atmosphere but I think I’ll just have. It’ll pump up the crowd, be a good energy.”
All the Calgary Roughnecks will be in attendance, including mascot Howie the Honey Badger. But maybe the biggest change is the Hitmen will be playing music all throughout the game just like they do in the NLL.
Hitmen forward Luke Coleman said that “it’ll be a different atmosphere” and that “it’ll pump up the crowd.”
Puck drop is 7 pm on Friday.
