Stampeders need to stop horsing around to gather top spot.

Calgary, AB, Canada / RTBN

The Calgary Stampeders are very close to beginning their playoff run but their past 2 games haven’t really went their way and questions have now been raised about their status as grey cup favorites.

The Stamps were a nice 5 and 0 before they took those 2 loses at home taking out that perfect record.

Quarter back Bo Levi Mitchell averaged only 212 passing yards in his last 2 contests but, part of that is because, he is missing nearly all of his starting receivers as well as some big men on the offensive line.

The team is also missing some defensive players which has led to higher than average points against.

Saturday’s loss to the riders was the stamps last home game of the regular season. They do still currently hold first place but, a loss for the Stamps and a win for The Riders would result in Calgary losing that top spot.
