If you feel as though it’s been rather warm compared to what we are used to, you aren’t wrong.
Just this past weekend we broke a 127 year old record, having a high of 14 degrees.
As the warm weather continues, the snow is staying away.
Every year the City of Calgary budgets roughly 38 million dollars to go towards snow removal and the city still has 10 million to use for snow removal in 2017.
If we continue to be lucky, that 10 million could be moved into our 2018 fund and make budgeting for next years snowfall a little easier.
