Kensington Manor residents’ move out delayed

The temporary re-entry of Kensington Manor at has been approved by the city but only a small group of people are being allowed back in.
The City of Calgary’s Safety Response Unit gave the go ahead for re entry to the building at 11:30 this morning… 5 and a half hours after residents were told they could start gathering their possessions.
The temporary re-entry was approved following the professional engineering’s review of shoring work completed onsite…ensuring the structural stability and integrity of the building.
Temporary re-entry is approved ‪until December 13, 2017‬ when all residents are expected to be out.
