Johnny Gaudreau extended his career-high point streak to 10 games with a goal and an assist in a Calgary Flames 4-1 victory over the Washington Capitals.
Gaudreau scored the Flames first goal and assisted on Sean Monahan’s powerplay goal which was the game winner.
Mikael Backlund and Mark Giordano also scored for Calgary, who got 29 saves from Mike Smith.
Gaudreau has eight goals and 11 assists during his point streak and the Flames are 7-3-0 in those 10 games.
Braden Holtby allowed four goals on 39 shots and the Capitals have lost for the third time in four games.
Lars Eller scored the only goal for the Washington who took five minor penalties in the game while Calgary only took three.
The Flames currently sit in third place in the Pacific Division with a record of 12-8-0.
Calgary will be in Columbus on Wednesday night to face off against the Blue Jackets.
