UPDATE (12:06): Ontario Police are reporting that at least 3 people are now confirmed dead as first responders continue to search for more potential casualties around the crash site.
“It’s something I have never seen in my life” said Sgt. Kerry Smith of the Ontario Provincial Police following a massive 14 car pileup that killed 2 on Ontario’s Highway 400.
Two loaded fuel tanker trucks and three transport trucks were involved in the collision that occurred around 11:30pm ET on October 31st.
Highway 400 is set to be closed between highways 88 and 89 for the remainder of the day as the Ontario First Responders search for any missing bodies.
According to police, the fire burned for nearly three hours before it was extinguished at 2am ET by dozens of firefighter.
