Charges dropped for Tanis Lambert

Charges of careless driving against Tanis Lambert have been dropped. In May of 2016 Lambert was driving a pickup truck when she fatally struck Avi Toulon, a 4 year old girl in Northwest Calgary. As the family was making their way through a Bowness Intersection, the mother of the girl, Sam Toulon, says the Ford F-150 approached without slowing down, Striking and running over Avi. But after a witness to the accident testified that Lambert did stop even though there was no stop sign, The prosecution came to the decision that “The Crown has concluded there is no reasonable likelihood of conviction” and withdrew the charges.
