It’s Cyber Security Awareness Month and the Calgary Police Services are hosting an event for small businesses. With cyber attacks on the rise anyone can come down and learn more about protecting the online aspect of their business. CPS has seen tens of thousands of dollars stolen via online scammers. Calgary Police believe small businesses are prone to attacks, due to a lack of software knowledge. Employees and business owners will learn to secure and backup all personal files. The event will take place October 3rd at the CPS Headquarters. Attendees are encouraged to sign up for the event on “Eventbrite” as their are limited spots available.
