As the Make Some Noise for Mental Health week wraps up we can look back at what was a successful and loud campaign to end the stigma against mental health.
In partnership with the SAIT Recreation Department and SAITSA the Trojans Athletics Association hosted DJ Spin Glow on Monday evening.
Every Trojans team showed up to pedal to the beat and raise awareness and it was hard for people to ignore the blacklit spin party.
In total, more than 160 people took part in the event including honorary chair and former NHL player Sheldon Kennedy who said events like this are a great way to get people out of there shell.
Kennedy also said one of the biggest challenges is to empower the bystander and get people to reach out if they think something is wrong.
