Calgarians were given insight onto what the Energy Industry will look like in 2018 at the Fairmont Palliser. The Calgary Chamber held a conference where different subjects such as taxes, pipeline development and international trade talk were at the forefront. With U.S President Donald Trump’s changes to tax reforms many talks focused on NAFTA. Justin Trudeau meanwhile has told Canadians he will do whatever it takes to ensure NAFTA stays the way it is. In terms of taxes Chung Wang forecasted not much change in rates from last year. All in all the message was positive and promise of another year of economic upturn seemed to be the focus of the talks.
